Dipti’s career aspirations have led her toward entrepreneurship with a career experience across industries, a mindset of intrepreneurship at the workplace and a desire to continually learn and inspire others to grow. 

In 2024, she authored a book to guide journalists on AI tools and technology and is available to download as an ebook. The free book is aimed to reach many hands across India and the world to understand the foundations of AI tools that aid in the business of journalism- research, writing, collating, image generation and more. 

As the former Digital Engagement Director for the U.S. Consulate General in Chennai, she worked on informing over 180 million people in India on bilateral public diplomacy efforts, achievements, opportunities, and developments that serve both nations. As the youngest person to hold a senior leadership position, she was deeply involved in guiding, shaping, and growing initiatives with her colleagues across departments. This included Diversity and Inclusion efforts, building new partnerships in the digital space and working on multilingual content development.

The genesis of her career was in broadcast journalism, producing, reporting and bringing viewers over 150 episodes from culture, art, lifestyle, fashion, food, medical breakthroughs and more.

Dipti’s career spans countries and industries. It started with journalism and building impact through news and programming. Her journalistic ethics and relatable storytelling earned recognition for the foreign reports out of Turkana Kenya during her academic years. From reporting and producing community news and stories to paying it forward, Dipti’s desire to build kept getting stronger. 

As a learner and teacher, she extended her experiences into academia, training next-generation media professionals about media tools, reporting, research, fair and balanced reporting methods for digital and broadcast media. 

Dipti’s experience has served her career goals to reach the pinnacle moment in building the business of her dreams.
